Skiing in Italy, sliding and speeding down the icy slopes may give one an exhilarating experience but that’s once a while affair. The game of ice hockey is played in equally chilling conditions, and gives its spectators the same thrilling experience as that of skiing albeit in a different manner. As a spectator one can sit and watch the game unfold in all its glory and wrath. This is reason in itself for you to witness a live game in action instead of opting for a vacation at an ostelli Barcellona or anywhere, for that matter.
Exhilaration, such as the one mentioned above, was witnessed during the game between the Blackhawks and the Blueshirts recently. With the Blackhawks starting out as favorites, being the champions at the Stanley Cup, they gave up the match easily losing out with a 3-2 margin. When twenty seconds remained of the first period, the Blackhawks did a les-miserable act by giving up a game tying goal. The Rangers thereafter scored right in the beginning of the third period. That tied the game at 1-1. And then the rangers wrapped up with the winning goal 28 seconds after Patrick Kane had swung his magical stick.
The credit for making this game such an exhilarating one goes to the Rangers. Such was the engrossment of the game that the audience had to be shaken out of their shock to believe that their favored team had been defeated. The speed of execution by the Rangers was praised by none other than the team coach of the Blackhawks.
The loss of a well famed team was also viewed with concern by authorities of the game as this indicates a certain trend and is not a one of case. The game with all its brute force and top speeds is quite a predictable one given a team’s history and composition. That such turnovers can take place is evident not only in this one game but in few others also that have been played recently.
