Safety gear used in ice hockey and the specialty of the skate

The puck in a game of ice hockey is the object that is the one around which the game revolves. Much like the ball in a game of football, this is the object that players endeavor to gain control of and push it into the opponent’s goal post. However, in ice hockey the puck moves at a speed of over 160 kilometer per hour given the slick icy surface which is hard, upon which the game is played. It is therefore natural for the players also to move at equally if not higher speeds to maneuver the ball within their team’s control.

Ice hockey in UK- more publicity is needed

Do you think administrators of ice hockey in UK adopt a more proactive and public approach? One advantage of the administrators coming forward is that the game would automatically enjoy more publicity. Otherwise, the game will get publicity only when a tournament is being organised in the country. The coach of the English cricket team or the chairperson of the English Cricket Board do not get publicity only when a test match or an ODI is being organised in England, right?

Norwich horsemen lose their sole practice rink

Over the past few weeks, I have been very optimistic about the spread of ice hockey in the world. I have also been very happy at the spread of ice hockey in England. However, this does not mean we can afford to be complacent. To presume that ice hockey will automatically flourish in England just because it snows regularly can lead to disastrous consequences. We are already beginning to see the consequences of our casual and complacent approach. The sole ice rink in Norwich is being shut down.

Ice hockey- a delicious dream here

Now that ice hockey is becoming popular in countries where it does not snow, one can hope for is a drastic improvement in the reach of this game. I look forward to the day when this game will be included in the Summer Olympics due to the fact that countries without a real winter too participate in the sport. The discomfiture of the authorities and organizers will be worth enjoying. This day is not going to come soon but there is no harm in dreaming, right?

You would not mind purchasing coat hooks for schools is somebody offered you a used coat at a discount when you are not in a position to afford brand-new one, right? You would probably consider using the used coat until you reach the stage where you can purchase a brand-new one with your own money. That is exactly what the global administrators of ice hockey are doing with countries like UAE.
